I've always dreamed of a western inspired wedding, perhaps that stems from my childhood years in a small Oklahoma town. You know the types, where you can walk into a store and everyone knows who you are and who your family is?

Now, it's very very easy to go overboard with cowboy and western, but with a few modern and chic accents the wedding can be a southern gals dream!

Another Fifteen Minute Friday!

So... I decided to do yet another Fifteen Minute Friday! I love me some Hyper-Homemaker! She's brilliant!

Today's fifteen minutes were spent changing my tablescape. :)

I wanted to keep the holiday decorations simple this year, so I passed on decorating our dining room table. Buuuuut, after walking by it every day with the sad summer decor still on display, I just had to make some changes. Perhaps it was the Charlie Brown Christmas special last Friday that inspired me!

So... alas.. our 2008 Holiday dining room table:

::Real Couples:: {Jasmine & Travis}

At the end of each wedding planning journey, I can easily say that I consider my brides and grooms to be friends. Today I'm going to share one of our first couples! Jasmine and Travis. I just received an email from Jasmine announcing their expected little bundle of boy! I know he is going to be absolutely adorable and I can't wait to share the baby shower invites I'm creating for them!

This couple is so modern, chic and stylish. When they came to me to create their wedding invitations, I knew that I would have fun with them!

They went with a different color combo that turned out to be GORGEOUS! Grey and Pale Yellow.

::Inspiration Board #1 :: {Old Hollywood Glamour}

One of the first tasks I do with my bride and grooms is to create a wedding inspiration board. This board is meant to set the tone of their wedding and visualize the elements that the bride and groom desire.

The inspiration for this Old Hollywood Glamour wedding came from a recent trip to a beautiful hotel in Palm Springs, the Viceroy. Walking into this posh little resort, you take on a new element of style. You feel like you are Marilyn Monroe with all of her stylish glory. The lush yellow, crisp white and the charcoal black that's featured in this resort throws you back into an era of style and flair.
