Let them eat cake!

I'm back from my cable induced hiatus and boy oh boy what a crazy week it's been! As I stated earlier last week, we are cautiously leaping into wedding season and it's a big one this year! We've been on 10... yes, 10 client consultations in the past week. I've had so much fun speaking to my bride to be's... they are all super fun!!

However, I'm going to take a break from the brides today and talk about a fancy birthday coming up this summer. Ms. Callie emailed me a few months back with a picture I L-O-V-E LOVE! It's a shot from the movie Marie Antoinette. (I haven't seen it yet, but it's next on our netflix and I'm anxiously waiting!)

Since her fab wedding two years ago, she's been an avid blog stalker on many wedding websites and has noticed this candy and feather dripped theme all over the place. So... when the talk of her fabulous birthday came up she knew exactly what she wanted! A la Marie Antoinette....

I took the candy soaked colors and lavish feather elements to create an invite that sets the tone for her stylish event!

Happy very early Birthday Marie... I mean, Callie!!

Bella Bellissimo is coordinating this posh event, so be sure to check back for pics!

Wrapped Monogram = Elegant element

Today we are showcasing one of my favorite type of monograms - the wrapped letter.

I love how elegant the letter of the bride's name flows through the letter of the groom's name. It gives an mental image of their love intertwined together - I know, so cheesy but I can't help it, I'm a romantic! :)

Take a peak at Sophia and Tyler's monogram:

I also tried my photography skills with their invitations before I sent them (ugh...I need practice!!):

If you are looking for a wrapped monogram, drop us an email! I love creating these stylish and elegant pieces!

Happy Tuesday!

Just another manic monday...

Hi Lovelies!

This weekend was jammed pack for hubby and I - we met up with fabulous friends that we haven't seen in about a year (I hate how quickly time flies and how busy we all get!), went shopping for a family wedding coming up and finally tried Roscoe's chicken and waffles (Yumm-eeee!!)! I love weekends!

But as fun and relaxing as weekends are, week days are just as fun! We are closing in on the uber busy wedding season -- SUMMER! So, be sure to check back daily for the fabulous projects we are working on!

Today we are showcasing Yvette and Edwin's monogram. Yvette has a deep love for ostrich feathers (almost as deep as mine!), so she was certain she wanted to showcase one somewhere in her elements and I was more than happy to help her. I suggested she go with the monogram and she agreed! I can't wait to see it all tied together - I know, Jade, our associate planner will make their day gorgeous! I can't wait to see the pictures!

Congrats Yvette & Edwin!!

Friday Eye Candy

Happy Friday!

So, every day I sip my cream de coconut coffee (yes, I started my summer coffee early this year!) at my favorite morning blog - The Bride's Cafe. This blog is full of fabulous ideas, inspirations and major eye candy!

The past few days I've been thinking of this stunning photograph taken by the talented Elizabeth Messina that I found on The Bride's Cafe. Take a peek::

Doesn't this image just drip in glamour - the bride, the tall walls, the chic windows, the colors.. I could go on and on..

Perfect Eye Candy!

Fabulous + Inexpensive - My Fav!

I'm always trying to find chic and stylish decor to add to our house. One of my cheapy favorites to find treasures is Tar-jay (aka Target).

Every month they feature the red hot shop (a monthly dose of chic, unique & sometimes offbeat). I was just able to log on and scope out the March goodies today. Check it out - I'm digging the wodden birdcage -- partly because it's named the sassafrass! hee hee hee

visit Target every month for a fresh dose of fun!!

Ciao!

Have you pinched someone today??

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

I was one of those kids that would spend hours looking for the magical four leaf clover that would transport me from my grandmother's front yard to the end of the rainbow to meet my pot of gold and the little leprechaun that would make my dreams come true - which back then was to my castle where I had all the sparkly dresses and fancy shoes in the land! -- come to think of it, I think that's still my dream!

Well, here's to a fabulous St. Paddy's Day and a virtual four leaf clover to make your dreams come true:

Real Couples:: Lexy + Justin Invite Package

Happy Monday!!

Today we get to showcase one of our first Hawaii weddings! Lexy came to me awhile ago with the color elements of coral and aqua for her posh Maui wedding in September.

Look at the stunning grounds her and her fab fiancee, Justin, will say their "I DO'S!":

She really wanted a simple invitation to create the ambiance of the weekend - chic and calm. They have a load of activities for their guests (including swimming with manta rays!!) and wanted something to the point but that also allowed the beauty of their day to shine through.

Here's the creation:

::1:: This is their coral inspired invitation.
::2:: Their monogram will be used for favors, menus and on their fabulous welcome packages.
::3:: To keep the invite simple, she wanted to include a little card that directed their guests to a website that is full of travel info as well as an RSVP option!

Check back for the rest of their wedding stationery!

Ciao!

Aloha Baby..

Wow, two posts in one day?! See, I told you that we would have more time!!

Just as special as the day you announce your upcoming nuptials, is the announcement that your family has begun. Baby Johanna entered the Lakey Family back in December, but to ring in the spring time they decided to send her grand Aloha this week.

Enjoy! (baby pic has been changed to eliminate tiny tot papparazzi!)

As always, email us at bellabellissimodesigns@gmail.com to get your stylish custom stationery!

Aloha Johanna!

:: Etsy Shop Showcase :: {Western Party}

Hello!

I've finally caught up from my few weeks of being down with the flu. Yikes, that was a nasty one!

At any rate, as I was down with my nyquil and my 10 seasons of friends, I decided that I would showcase our etsy shop once a week with an inspiration board!

So... here is today's! We are going to showcase Chloe's Western Party Invitation:

What little girl doesn't want to be the cowgirl princess for a day? Here's the fab inspiration board for a western inspired birthday soiree:

::1:: The perfect elements for a western party: wheel, cow linens, lots of bright pinks and hay!
::2:: Isn't this a perfect idea to showcase photos of the birthday princess with her friends and family? Another idea would be to take polaroid photos of the guest with the birthday girl as they enter the party and place them on the wooden fence with the twine and clothes pins.
::3:: A western party wouldn't be complete without smores makin!
::4:: Add a mini petting zoo for the kids to meet and greet ponies and feel like real cowboys!
::5:: Set the embiance with sporadic camping tents set up full of toys and goodies inside.
::6:: Barrels of hay set around the venue will help tie the event together.
::7:: As well as wooden bins! Perfect place for all the birthday gifts!
::8:: And providing western inspired outfits will get the kids in the mood for a fun western bash!

Happy Square Root Day! 3-3-9

Happy Square Root Day!!

I love when what seems to be a normal day turns into something fun! Like most days, after the hubs leaves I turn on the news to catch up on the gossip (lately its been to depressing so I only listen for about 20 min. max!), well today my fabulous favorite news anchors on channel 2 ended their broadcast with happy square root day! How fun is that?!

Well in honor of Square Root day and to give some Tuesday eye-candy, look at this fabulous floral design from the stylish Square Root Designs:

Ciao Bellas!
